Mogie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Mogie's Story...
Mogie is a wonderful, intelligent, beautiful Belgian Malinois who had a rough start in life and is extremely timid but slowly coming out of his shell. We have started basic obedience with him. He is crate-trained, rides well in a car and is good off-leash. He does fine with our cat and large dog. He has never been around children, but is sweet-tempered so probably would be okay with older kids. Extremely high energy and needs daily runs or off-leash time. Great for camping or hiking. Still a puppy and will chew shoes and other items if left unsupervised. House-trained, but occasionally experiences diarrhea and has had one accident in his crate, and once inside during the few months we have had him. Mogie is a 1.5 year old neutered male and is UTD on vaccines. He is not suited to Schutzhund, but would likely excel at other dog sports.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mogie, a Hamilton Belgian Malinois dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Belgian Malinois for sale in Hamilton, or seeking a Belgian Malinois dog from a breeder in Hamilton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamilton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamilton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Belgian Malinois breeders who help with Belgian Malinois rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamilton paves the way for another one to be saved.
