Lucky's Story...
Lucky is a happy go lucky little Daschund who is 3 years old and in need of being rehomed. We would like to find him a home with his brother, Baxter, who is 4 years old, however we may consider seperate adoptions. Both Baxter and Lucky are lovable, tame, very sweet and funny boys who do well with people of all ages, including toddlers as their previous owner had a two year old baby. They love to play with toys and are very charming. These two delightful Doxie gentlemen would make wonderful companions for any family. Both boys are nuetered, microchipped, and vaccinated.

Application, home visit, contract, and nonrefundable, tax deductable adoption donation of $300. for the pair required. Microchips stay in the name of HTFF.

These boys are in Southern California and cannot be sent out of state.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky, a Arcadia Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Arcadia, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Arcadia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arcadia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arcadia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arcadia paves the way for another one to be saved.
