Mazie's Story...
Mazie is a very special girl. She was found on the highway as a stray and a very nice family rescued her. She came to the adoption center emaciated and heavily infested with parasites, But this little lass stole the hearts of that caring family that rescued her. Once Mazie gained some weight and was treated for lice she was adopted by that very same family! Unfortunately one of the children in the family in allergic and as a last resort Mazie was surrendered. Mazie only ever knew one family as her own and is having a hard time in the adoption center, Mazie is a very sweet girl but needs a patient owner that is willing to take their time and earn Mazie's trust again. She is already spayed and can start her knew life as soon as her new loving family finds her! To meet Mazie you can come to the adoption center during viewing hours or call us at 594-1896 for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mazie, a Cold Lake Bearded Collie/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bearded Collie/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Cold Lake, or seeking a Bearded Collie/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Cold Lake.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cold Lake already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cold Lake breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bearded Collie/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Bearded Collie/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cold Lake paves the way for another one to be saved.
