Bear's Story...
Bear is about 6 mos old. He kind of has a sad story. He was given to family members who wanted him as a cute puppy. But as we all know puppies get bigger. Bear did not have a family who cared. They put him in a backyard and left him there...forgot him. So he is shy, timid at first. He is getting better with people but when he first came he does not know who we were or what to do with us. He would prefer a single home with just himself. He gets along with others but females better than other males.

He is loyal. A great little intruder alert. He lets you know if someone is at your door. This guy needs his happy ending. Someone with a soft voice and a big heart to give him a chance at a real life. His adoption fee is $150. Call 530-923-5702.

Please call when you are ready to come. We DO NOT hold for more than the day you are coming. Just keep checking petfinder to check status of availability. We update daily. DO NOT call in advance (days or weeks). They might be adopted by the time you are able to come. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear, a Yuba City Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Yuba City, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Yuba City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yuba City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yuba City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yuba City paves the way for another one to be saved.
