Sadie's Story...
Sadie is a 2-1/2-year-old, spayed female Alaskan Malamute. She is new to our rescue so we don’t know much about her yet. She is a high energy girl that needs a home with someone who plans to provide an outlet for her energy. Nice long walks or runs each day would be perfect. She gets along with some dogs but occasionally picks on some dogs without a good reason. We think it's advisable that Sadie goes to a home without other animals. Sadie is housetrained.

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out and submit our online application. Vet and personal references will be checked and a home visit is required. Also, a minimum 5' high fenced yard is required to adopt any of our dogs and invisible fences are NOT acceptable.

All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm tested, on heartworm preventative year-round, and microchipped for identification.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a Belleville Alaskan Malamute dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Alaskan Malamute for sale in Belleville, or seeking a Alaskan Malamute dog from a breeder in Belleville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Belleville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Belleville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Alaskan Malamute breeders who help with Alaskan Malamute rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Belleville paves the way for another one to be saved.
