Misty is about 10 months old and 39 pounds, has a beautiful plush coat red/brindle/white, short Aussie tail with the Aussie energy and smartness
Misty loves to give kisses to people and the other dogs she gets to greet only through the fences right now. the video shows her first one on one interaction to play with another dog for a few min. as her leg is healing so playtime just min a day for another month or so
This sweet-faced little girl had a compound fracture on her hind leg and an infection as a result. We are thrilled that the infection is now gone and she's once healthy again
Because of the site and severity of the break, it could not be pinned. Misty was so sweet and charming that the shelter staff and local rescuers could not resist giving her every chance of recovery possible. She has been wearing a splint for the last 2 months but now it's off and she's ready for her home
She can do activities but no super long hikes yet
She is a higher energy dog so looking for a active family and someone must be home along with another active young dog she can play with or older kids and doggie play dates She loves tennis balls and wants so badly to chase them. She's all love and looking for a super special family for life that treats her as part of the family not just a dog
