Yuba's Story...
We were told that Yuba's owner moved out of state and left Yuba behind. At our best guess Yuba is around 4 to 5 years old, is Large/Medium in size, walks on a leash, sits when asked, he appears to be sweet & loving, playful, obedient, pretty well mannered, Yuba also appears to be a really happy boy. I gave a little test by looking in Yuba's mouth, pulling on his ears and tail, holding his paw and giving him a little kiss and hug. Yuba appeared to past the test with no problems,. We feel he may make a fun loving, happy family member and loyal companion. We also feel this boy would do best in a very well fenced yard to play in. If you wish, Yuba can be tested at the shelter around Dogs & Cats.

A PERSON THAT KNOWS YUBA HAD THIS TO ADD

This is what I know of Yuba while he was in his owners care. Yuba loves cats, Ive seen him interact with kids, and he's very loyal and loving and likes to roll around and have them pet his belly. He's fine with female dogs, its only male dogs he gets aggressive with. Hes perfectly house trained, and he used to come by our farm and never tried to harm our goats or llamas. He just needs room to run & play. I really loved that dog and wish I could have him but I cant where Im living. Jen

Act quickly to adopt Yuba. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yuba, a Grass Valley Bull Terrier/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bull Terrier/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Grass Valley, or seeking a Bull Terrier/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Grass Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grass Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grass Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bull Terrier/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Bull Terrier/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grass Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
