DAKOTA's Story...
HI! I’m Dakota. I am approximately 6 years old and my foster mom tells me I’m an American Eskimo. I am 17 lbs. Don’t let my age fool you, because I still love to play. My favorite thing is to enjoy time outdoors when it is cool. I can spend hours out there. It is even better if there is someone to chase me and play keep-a-way with my toys. Inside I still love to play, but if you're relaxing I would love to come and lay right beside you. I get along well with dogs and kids. I am up to date on shots, neutered and heartworm negative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DAKOTA, a Beavercreek American Eskimo Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Eskimo Dog for sale in Beavercreek, or seeking a American Eskimo Dog dog from a breeder in Beavercreek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Beavercreek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Beavercreek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Eskimo Dog breeders who help with American Eskimo Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Beavercreek paves the way for another one to be saved.
