Romeo's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Romeo's Story...
Hello ladies! (and gentlemen). I'm Romeo. They named me for my dashing good looks (obviously...just look at my tooth!). I'm a tiny little character who can be swept off my feet with little effort - I weigh less than 8 pounds (I got Winter Weight)! I am 8 years old (which isn't old at all...some chihuahua's can live to be 20!), although because I'm so cute I'm often mistaken for someone much younger. I was rescued from a chihuahua shelter (us chihuahuas are a "dime a dozen" in California), and am looking so forward to finding someone who needs a little looker such as myself.

Should you choose to open your door to me, my $280 adoption fees will cover my microchip (should you lose me), all vaccinations (I'm clean!) and....uhhhh....yeah....I'm neutered too (but still ALL man!). Please email my pals at CaliCan to start a trial visit. Their address is info@calicanrescue.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a Edmonton Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Edmonton, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Edmonton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmonton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmonton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmonton paves the way for another one to be saved.
