Snookie's Story...
Hi, my name is Snookie! I am a 4-5 year old female Yorkie. I am from a puppy mill so everything is kind of new to me but I love human attention. Especially the yummy treats they give me! My foster mom says I'm a really good girl because I am quiet in my kennel and don't cause any trouble. I like the other dogs in my foster home but haven't played with them yet, I'm just not sure how. I am ready to go to my forever home and learn what it's like to have a family. I've heard it's really nice to have someone love you.

If you would like to meet me, contact my foster mom Marlo directly at fostermomhahs@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snookie, a Overland Park Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
