Chica's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Chica's Story...
Chica was found dodging cars in the street.. She was very skinny. Since that time she's had her first 2 sets of puppy shots, been dewormed and spayed. The vet says she is about 3-4 months old. One of the pictures shows her next to one of her foster mom's Papillions to show a size comparison. She will probably grow to be about 30 pounds.

She has really cute wrinkles on her forehead that make her look like she has a little Sharpei or some kind of hound in her. Her muzzle is very soft - not pointed like many street dogs. Her legs are quite long. She sleeps all night by the side of the bed.

She is very smart and has learned many commands in the 3 weeks since she was found - loves to play catch and retrieve with her ball. She plays really well with other dogs, moderating her play for smaller dogs and well as bigger dogs. She walks well on a leash and really wants to please.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chica, a Albuquerque Shar Pei/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shar Pei/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Albuquerque, or seeking a Shar Pei/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Albuquerque.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Albuquerque already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Albuquerque breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shar Pei/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shar Pei/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Albuquerque paves the way for another one to be saved.
