My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is a sweet, gentle, two-year old, people loving dog, who's very soft and snuggly. She walks nicely on a leash and a housetrained. At 22 lbs, she is a little chubby just now from being fed people scrap food scraps, but she should slim down quickly with an appropriate diet. Princess original owners cant keep her because she barks to much. However, she hardly barks at all at the foster families' house where there are other dogs or people around most of the time. Princess loves children and rides in the car. She would be a wonderful companion for an active retired lady whose grandchildren come to visit frequently. Princess has no problem with men, she sits on foster dads lap a lot, but she has had most of her life experience with women and children. She is current on her shots, will be spayed soon, is heartworm negative and started on preventive. It would probably be a good idea for Princess to have another dog as part of her forever family. This should prevent any issues with her being lonely- such as expressive barking- in th inevitable event that her owners need to be away for part of a day. She has been getting along with all the other dogs at the foster home, even one tha tis a little antisocial with most of the others. This dog cannot be adopted to Massachusetts residents per their pet import/quarantine regulations.
