Kate's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Kate's Story...
Kate's a 1 1-2 year old female Vizsla/Hound mix weighing 37 lbs. She's sweet and gentle and she has some hound traits, but the Vizsla heritage is much stronger- deep rust-colored coat, eyes that match her fur color, pink nose. She's going to be a velcro dog and attach herself to her humans - definitely loyal companion material! She enjoys romping and playing and is fine with kids and cats. When she’s done with the 8-10 week Camp Canine program, she'll be an AKC Good Citizen, who knows basic commands (sit, stay, down) and other skills she'll need to interact in public with humans other than her own and other dogs. She’s fully-vetted: spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and microchipped. If you'd like to meet Kate, give us a call at 502-222-7537 or email jojohsoc@aol.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kate, a LaGrange Vizsla/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Vizsla/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in LaGrange, or seeking a Vizsla/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in LaGrange.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in LaGrange already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a LaGrange breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Vizsla/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Vizsla/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in LaGrange paves the way for another one to be saved.
