Sonny's Story...
With my to-die-for melting eyes and beautiful face, I'm sure to charm you. I'm a 3 year old 45 lb Boxer mix. The volunteers named me Sonny. You see, they did know my real name because, like too many others, I was found abandoned. I'm a docile, sweet boy who's eager for a home. Bet you can tell that from my imploring look. Every day I cross my paws, hoping that my special someone comes for me. I want a family to play with, to cuddle and to tell me that I'm a good boy. True to my Boxer heritage, I'm loyal, smart and eager to please. I'm healthy, housebroken with wonderful house manners. I've been neutered, vaccinated and heartworm/Lyme tested also. Can I be your new best friend? Please complete an adoption application at www.radfordpoundpals.org to take me home. You can also write my friends at pals@psknet.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sonny, a Radford Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Radford, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Radford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Radford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Radford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Radford paves the way for another one to be saved.
