Crystal just arrived, she was just vetted and hasn't been here long enough to evaluate her. She is friendly, shy at lst, as we are a new place for her. She was not socialied much at her young age. She loves to be petted and is getting to know the resident furkids. She is good with other dogs and probably cats. We will update you.
Most of our rescues lived with another pet and would like a playmate. She weighs 12 lbs and is white in color and 1 1/2 years young. Has cropped ears and docked tail. Crystal is being fostered by Lorie and family in Mayfield Heights OH area. Crystal 's adoption fee is $325 (TOY) and it includes a written veterinary exam, Spay, Dental polishing. In addition you receive prepaid Microchip registeration. PLUS an annual booster shot, rabies shot and tag, heartworm test and passed, fecal and preventative deworming. In season One month flea/tick and heartworm preventative. You also receive a trial limited 30 day pet insurance from a third party.
We send you home with a copy of all the vet work, dog training booklet, Adopted Dog Training CD, adoption paperwork and tips. Our Foster families notes explaining our rescue dogs schedule, habits, socialization skills.
We do not ship or transport our dogs you must drive to the foster home to meet the dog. You must fill out our on line application to schedule a meet and great with the foster dog. We do not require a fenced yard on all of our dogs, it is on a as needed basis. HOWEVER if you don't have a fenced yard we do require you to purchase an exercise pen (>$60 on internet) so that the dog can be safe when outside; SMALL DOGS CAN NOT BE TIED OUT. .
Not all our dogs are totally house trained at the time of adoption. We crate train them, potty pad train them and use exercise pens and work on potty skills. Dogs learn quickly and are pretty far along.
