CHEERIO- pending's Story...
Cheerio has arrived! What a beautiful boy he is! He is a true sweetheart and settling in beautifully! He arrived on 3-10-12 weighing in at only 18 pounds, 13 oz. He was found a stray and taken to a kill shelter. We quickly took him out of there. He rode home in the care nicely. He explored the yard with joy. He has an intelligent curiosity. Upon arrival home he was given a nice bath. He did not mind the bath at all. He took it like a champ! He is fostered with a child, a dog, and a cat. He was not quite sure of the cat, but has has already become buddies with our large dog. At night, he went into his crate without a care. He played with a few toys and is now out for the count! We're in love! UPDATE: Cheerios and our cat are slowly warming up to each other. I see them becoming good friends soon. He slept from 10 -7 without a peep in his crate, where he really seems to like the coziness. All in all, he plays, sleeps, and loves, with a grade of A+! UPDATE: Cheerio is really a sweet little love bug! He cuddles up with you. He comes to the room you are in and sits at your feet while you, cook, work, or whatever. He is always happy inside or out. He is very curious and wants to be part of whatever action is happening. He plays with toys a bit but prefers to explore and, of course, be with you! Cheerio appears to be finished with his chewing on things stage, as he has not chewed on anything in the house. He will go to bed when you like, get up when you like too! Cheerio sleeps all night in his crate happily and quietly until you come to let him out. Cheerio would like to play with our cat; however, our cat is playing hard to get. I do believe they will eventually be friends. UPDATE: Cheerio is such a good boy that we have trusted him to let him stay out of the crate when we left our home. He was with us only 5 days and I knew he would be just fine. All humans left the home, Cheerio and our dog were home alone. We came home, nothing was chewed, no accidents, no misbehavior at all. He is truly a gem! Lucky adopters is all I can say, you will be getting a gem! If you are interested in seeing additional photos, please friend Sheryl's Den on Facebook. Each pup has had their first vet exam, a shot, and de-worming, etc We make sure they have no fleas prior to going into our foster homes. They are fostered out of the shelter at least two weeks or more prior to adopting to monitor health. We take their care seriously!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CHEERIO- pending, a West Milford Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in West Milford, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in West Milford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
