DIXIE's Info...

I am a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

DIXIE's Story...
Dixie was tied up outside the Berlin pound and abandoned. Shes timid meeting new people but warms up fast. Shes good with other dogs and runs around with the whole crew at the pound. She would do best in a home with out small children. She is sweet once you give her a day or two to get to know you and trust you. .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DIXIE, a Berlin Fox Terrier (Toy)/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Fox Terrier (Toy)/Chihuahua for sale in Berlin, or seeking a Fox Terrier (Toy)/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Berlin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berlin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berlin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Fox Terrier (Toy)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Fox Terrier (Toy)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berlin paves the way for another one to be saved.
