Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Doogie Bowser is a sweet, gentle beagle mix. He is about 1 yr old and weighs about 25 lbs. He has pensive eyes that make you think he is trying to figure things out. He was terrified when he was brought into the big, scary City animal shelter. But he has blossomed in his foster home. He does great with new people. He also gets along great with other dogs, especially females. He is very affectionate and snuggly with people. He is very tolerant of handling, including having his nails trimmed. He does not seem to be an escape artist in a secured 6-ft privacy fence. He loves running in the fenced yard with the other dogs in the home. But he also loves snuggling inside with people. He is not a picky eater but neither is he a food hound. He is a little on the thin side but nearing an ideal weight. He is generally passive with the other dogs but is a little protective with his food around some of them. He has not been exposed to cats yet. He is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, dewormed and up to date on vaccinations.

If interested in adopting we require a home visit and an adoption agreement with a fee. Beagles over 5 years of age have an adoption of $100 and if younger than 5 years the fee is $125. All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, are up to date on vaccinations, and a copy of vet records is provided upon adoption to set up a file at your vet. We supply collar, temporary ID tag until you can use till you get one, and leash. All beagles are micro-chipped as well.
