ARROW's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

ARROW's Story...
Not only is Arrow handsome and charming, he's a very affectionate dog. He is curious, attentive and always right by your side. This dog craves training, and is super smart. He is always READY to take direction. He plays great with all dogs. He will chase a cat if they are running, although he doesn't do anything when he catches up with them. Thus we suggest a home with dog experienced cats. Arrow sleeps in a crate at his fosters and they have heard him bark, although not often. He has a high pitched/yodel bark. He's truly lovely and a wonderful dog!
Arrow is just about 2 years old and weighs 25lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ARROW, a Jersey City Basenji dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basenji for sale in Jersey City, or seeking a Basenji dog from a breeder in Jersey City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jersey City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jersey City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basenji breeders who help with Basenji rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jersey City paves the way for another one to be saved.
