Sweet, adorable, affectionate, playful; these are all words that describe McDuff, a 3 1/2 year old beagle!! McDuff was surrendered to the same shelter he was adopted from 3 years ago when his family had to move and couldn't take him with them! He was just a baby when they adopted him, so he was scared and confused when he found himself at the shelter after so many years. Luckily, one of our volunteers spotted his sweet face and got him out of there, and she is so happy she did!
Once in his foster home, that scared confused pup vanished and his true playful and goofy personality emerged! McDuff loves to entertain his foster family with his silly antics! He LOVES squeaky toys and will run around throwing them into the air and is always ready for a game of tug of war and fetch. If you are not up to playing at the moment, McDuff will happily curl up next to you for some relaxing time. He is quite accommodating! He gets along wonderfully with everyone, dogs, kids, adults, he loves them all. He does think it's a lot of fun to chase cats though and can't figure out why they don't want to play with him. He enjoys a good belly rub and wiggles with joy when he gets one.
McDuff is perfectly housebroken and is excellent while his foster family is at work all day. He has excellent manners in the house and knows basic commands. He walks nicely on the leash and loves going to the park so he can put that beagle nose to work! He is truly and wonderful dog with lots of love to give! He is going to make some lucky family VERY happy!
McDuff is house broken, up to date with shots, neutered, and microchipped.
