My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BEAU IS IN NEW ENGLAND AND WOULD LOVE TO MEET YOU !!! Beau was adopted to a home in New England two weeks ago and while they love him, they have found that he has an apprehension of men that he does not know and they would like to rehome him. His prior foster home in TN had a very loving couple care for him and did not notice this to be an issue. However, because of his recent experience we believe Beau prefers to live in a home without men as he has possibly had a bad experience in his past. He is very loyal and loving and will make a good watch dog for his new family!Something happened to Beau before he was found cowering under a guard rail by the side of a busy road. His face was chewed up and left hip and right shoulder were very sore. He was terribly thin as well. The vet said there were no breaks. but he still limps a bit from the shoulder, and one ear lays differently from the other. We really don,t know the breeding of this strikingly marked dog, but he does show signs of hunting instincts. His coloring says one thing and his blue eyes say another while his narrow nose and ear set throw us off all together. He's certainly attractive, though, and his coat is getting even more beautiful as he is getting fed properly. Gentle, easy-going, and loving human attention/petting. Beau will make an enjoyable companion. He should not be allowed to run free, though, He's under a year old, weighs about 30lbs, is heart worm negative and started on preventative. He has been very clean in the house, no accidents at all. He has had his shots and is neutered. He's ready to go to his forever, loving home. This dog cannot be adopted to Massachusetts residents per their pet import/quarantine regulations. Please click on to this link to find out more on adopting this dog. <
