My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Elijah is a gorgeous Black Brindle male Cane Corso. Right now he is only 68 lbs but is roughly 25 to 30 lbs underweight. He is soooooooooooooo sweet. He rides great in the car and goes right into his kennel when he needs to. Elijah was rescued from a high kill shelter in North Carolina after being adopted and returned when the adopter took him to the vet and found out that he was heart worm positive. Elijah has now completed his heatrtworm treatment and his looking for the right forever home. He is extremely sweet and loves to play. He is good with dogs, people and even loves the kitties!!!
1/20/2012 Elijah went in to be neutered today. He will have his heart worm treatment tomorrow.
1/21/2012 Elijah went in for his heartworm treatment today. He was on a protocal where he recieved two large doses of treatment in the same day and will be supervised over the course of the next two days to ensure that he continues to do well.
1/26/2012 Elijah had to go back into the vet today as his staples came out of his incision where he was neutered. He has been put onto antibiotics and is doing well.
2/5/2012 Elijah made his way into John and Tracy's home. He is now in foster care in Virginia Beach after a long transport from Charlotte North Carolina. He warmed right up to myself and Lori. He now has a foster sister, Zoe and Bullmastiff mix and is having a blast in his foster home. We will continue to update on his progress as he moves along over the course of this next month!
