CASPER THE GHOST's Story...
CASPER [adoption pending]: Isn't he striking? Casper is a three-year-old purebred male roughcoat (longhaired) Saint Bernard who doesn't have the traditional "Beethoven" look. We think he's positively gorgeous. And what a sweet boy! Casper is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm-negative. He's truly a gentle soul who loves being hugged by his humans. He cuddles. He gives gentle kisses. He's not destructive. He walks well on a leash. And he has begun to learn a few commands. This is a boy who just wants to plese. He appears to do well with other dogs and with cats. And he loves it when kids whisper in his ear. Casper's truly a gem. Don't let him slip away.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CASPER THE GHOST, a Sudbury St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Sudbury, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Sudbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sudbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sudbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sudbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
