My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Maggie Mae, and I’m a happy, healthy pup. But, when they found me in the woods, I was very thin and hungry. It took a few months, but last time I went to the vet, he said I looked great and weighed 41 lbs. Yay! I’m ready for my Forever Home!

My foster mom says I’m very smart and a fast learner. I’ve already learned a lot…like doing my business outside, going in my crate when they go to bed or have to go to work, sitting or lying down when they tell me to. I love to go for car rides and walks, and my foster mom says I do great on the leash.

My foster family has 4 other dogs and we all play and eat together. They even have a cat, but he’s not as much fun. I really love it when their grand-kids come over and play with me. I’ll chase the ball when they throw it and then they chase me to try and get it back. I’m working on that “bringing it back to them” thing. I’ll do anything for petting and a belly rub. My foster dad calls me “velvet ears”.

It’s very nice here and I’m learning a lot, but I would love to be in my “Forever Home”. I promise to love you forever!

MAGGIE MAE needs a forever loving home. Saving one dog will not change the world, but surely for MAGGIE MAE, the world will change forever.

MAGGIE MAE is being fostered in Parsons, Tennessee.
