Butch's Story...
Hi my name is Butch and I was born in March of 2011. As you can see from my pictures I am cute as a button (if I say so myself). I am a Chiweenie, part Dachshund part Chihuahua and I weigh about 14 pounds.
The first half of my life was scary. I was left alone in a backyard with my siblings and we never really got any attention from our humans. Because of this I can be very timid and shy around new people and situations. I would prefer a home without children. With the help of my foster Mom and Dad I am learning to trust more and more each day. I will need my new family to be very patient with me and if they are they will see what a loving dog that I can be.
I love to play with other dogs big and small (even my 3 pound foster sister) and enjoy getting bopped on the head by my feline foster sisters. When it is time for bed I love to snuggle under the covers with my foster parents. I am crate trained and house trained.

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a rescue consisting of an all volunteer organization where all of our dogs are in private homes everyday. We do not have a shelter and our dogs are not kept in cages. Our dogs are from county animals shelters or from previous owners that are no longer able to care for their dog. All of our dogs are started on housebreaking, however, we do not guarantee that they will be housebroken. We offer education on how to housebreak a dog as well as other information on different situations. Every dog is spayed or neutered, current on shots, dewormed, frontline for fleas and ticks. Thank you for considering a rescue dog!!!
