Brady's Story...
Brady is a two year old, 33 pound beagle. He is one good looking boy! He was found as a stray with a broken leg. He is feeling more secure now and loves to give kisses and have his belly rubbed. He is also an escape artist and is very curious about his surroundings. As he doesn't like to be left alone, he would probably do best in a home that has another dog and an owner who is not gone for long periods of time. He would also need a secure yard. As Brady came down with kennel cough, his surgery to repair his broken leg and to be neutered was delayed. He should be ready for adoption by the second or third week in May. For more information about Brady, please call Shannon at 858-675-2975. This dog cannot be adopted out of state. Please see our home page for a list of our Saturday adoption sites. Every potential adopter is required to fill out an adoption application and the dog is placed in the home that would be most suitable for the dog. Generally we don't release the dogs at the adoption site that day except on occasion to former adopters. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please call Penny Adams at 619-466-0426.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brady, a Spring Valley Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Spring Valley, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Spring Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
