Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I NEED A FOSTER/FUREVER HOME!!!!!!!!!!
Hi My name is Lloyd and I am a recovering nipper.
From the time I was just a pup, all the humans I knew didn’t treat me very nicely and the only way I could defend myself was to nip at them. I meant them no harm, but I didn’t want them to hurt me anymore, either.
Then the CDR (Chicagoland Dog Rescue) folks took me in. They figured out super fast that I am really smart, full of energy, a great student and a hard worker. They placed me with a trainer who specializes in cases like mine, and he brags about what great progress I’ve made.
According to him, I am a Rottweiler mix, about 2-3 years old and I weigh about 55 pounds. My ideal home would be with someone who has experience with a high-energy dog who’s still working on getting his trust and confidence back to where they should be.
It would be great if I could be the only dog in the house, ‘cause that way my master and I could work really hard together to make CDR and my trainer even more proud of me!
