My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CHANNING***Named for her distinctive "DO" resembling a rather unique Broadway icon, CHANNING is outstanding in more ways than her striking good looks . A young lady herself, she has already been a mother. She was found wandering with no evidence of the pups , probably because they were taken from her and sold. Whether CHANNING is a victim of greed or mindless irresponsibility she was abandoned and left to fend on her own. RESCUE demands" not again, not to one more hapless being".
CHANNING is mild in manner, attentive, absolutely beautiful and her soulful eyes welcome a kind hand and a soft word. She is equally responsive to confidence building encouragement in the form of positive training and reenforcement of her marvelous nature. This beautiful young dog is a perfect match to any household where kindness is spoken and adventure, stability, companionship are staples of the day.

Notes by intake shelter on CHANNING: Algoma(shelter name) is a very sweet girl, she was so good when I took her out for photos. She gets along well with other dogs. She is about a year old and weighs about 45bs. I had my 12yr old daughter helping (spring break here) and CHANNING simply adored her, so she is good with the kiddos too.

CHANNING is presently fostered in her home state of MS. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT MAKING CHANNING A PART OF YOUR FAMILY PLEASE CONTACT*****SHARON ddogresq@aol.com
PLEASE REMEMBER: The specific breed of any dog abandoned to a shelter is only the best guess of rescue in agreement with our veterinarians.
