My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mr. Badger was found in the streets of Homestead, at first we thought he was dead. We saw him under a palm tree, laying very still, but as soon as we came close he came right over wagging his tail with joy and dropped at our feet for a belly rub. Imagine that someone drops him off on the streets and yet he is loving when we approach him. It always amazes me, all they want is love....well shelter, some food and water helps as well:)

He has been s vetted and had a doggie eye surgery. Now his eye is looking wonderful. As you will see from the pictures he is a little different. He is a Rottweiler and Basset Hound mix. He is about 2-3 years old and gets along with everyone. He thinks he is a lap dog, but he is also a good protector, with a very deep voice. He doesn't use it often but when he does you know he is around. The vets office staff LOVED him, and many wished they could adopt him. I hope people will give him a chance and be willing to meet him in person. Once they do they will fall in love. He is currently learning commands. While he is still learning that not everything is a chew toy, he is doing wonderful at learning quickly what he can and cant do!
