Jake's Story...
March 14/12

Is that not the face of a happy puppy??? Jake is one of those dogs that is just full of life. He wants to go and play and explore and play some more.
Jake came to us from a northern rescue. He was found wandering a dark highway one night and his rescuers could not find his owners. While Jake has NO rottweiler in him at all we decided to help. He is a pup in need of a great home and everyone thought there would be a better chance of finding that here in the city.
Jake is still learning about housetraining. He needs to be taught to walk on a leash and all the basic obedience stuff. He loves to play with the small dogs in his foster home but we have not been able to test him with cats because the cat is in hiding.
If you would like to apply to adopt Jake, please send us an email at We do not have a physical shelter and you can not just drop by to view the animals in our care. Once you have applied for adoption we can set up a time for you to meet Jake.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jake, a Surrey Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Surrey, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Surrey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Surrey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Surrey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Surrey paves the way for another one to be saved.
