Mia's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Mia's Story...
Mia is full grown at 20 pounds and 2 years old. She is a very calm and well behaved dog in a house. Though Mia is wonderful with children, she would be best with older children who are gentle and will know how to handle a dog. Mia is house trained and would love a family where she can curl up in a lap while you watch T.V. But her favorite thing to do is to run like the wind in a fenced yard while chasing a ball. She likes other friendly dogs, but she has to be properly introduced.

All of our dogs and puppies are adopted as family pets and not as outside dogs. Our Adoption Guidelines are noted on our home page.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia, a Big Canoe Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Big Canoe, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Big Canoe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Big Canoe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Big Canoe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Big Canoe paves the way for another one to be saved.
