Bubba's Story...
Oh Bubba! As his name implies, Bubba does not have a care in the world! He is content to flop anywhere...anytime. What a great little pup! His mother, Jolene a beautiful yellow lab/shepherd mix was found by a farmer and a few days later she gave birth to a litter of puppies. Mother and pups were transferred to a very experience dog handler, who has been taking excellent care of them. The pups were born on February 2nd and while we cannot be certain, we believe they may be lab/bernese mix. They are very healthy and are being handled and well socialized with children. All the pups have a very gentle temperament as does the mother, and we believe they will make excellent family dogs. Applications are being accepted, however, the puppies will not be placed before March 24. If you have the time and energy to devote to a puppy and are ready for the lifelong commitment, please contact us. ...

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bubba, a Rigaud Labrador Retriever/Bernese Mountain Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Bernese Mountain Dog for sale in Rigaud, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Bernese Mountain Dog puppy from a breeder in Rigaud.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rigaud already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rigaud breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Bernese Mountain Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Bernese Mountain Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rigaud paves the way for another one to be saved.
