Jolene's Story...
Jolene is a super sweet Lab/Shepherd mix who was found as a stray in the country just days before giving birth to six puppies. She is between 1 and 2 years old and was a very patient and kind mom. Kiko has found forever homes for her pups so now Jolene is ready for a loving family of her own. She is very affectionate and loves being petted and handled. Jolene is also a very smart dog who knows her basic commands. She is eager to please and will make an amazing family dog. Jolene gets along great with other dogs and could easily fit in to a home with another dog. If you love Labs and Shepherds, Jolene can offer you the best of both breeds.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jolene, a Rigaud Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Rigaud, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Rigaud.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rigaud already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rigaud breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rigaud paves the way for another one to be saved.
