Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Robin is the kind of girl who is going to stick by you through thick and thin. She bonds quickly and would rather be with her person than do anything else or be anywhere else in the world. She even forgets about her treats and toys for the chance to spend time with her favorite person. Robin is tolerant of other animals but doesn't appreciate their company in the same way as she does that of humans. She is relatively high energy and would be great for an adopter who enjoys camping, hiking, running or other outdoor activities. She came to the Railroad as a stray and we are guessing her breed to be some mixture of red heeler. She is young, less than a year, and we guesstimate her birthday at 06.01.11. She weighs between 35-40 pounds, is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, heart worm negative, on heart worm prevention and been dewormed. She is crate-trained.

Or e-mail dixiedogsandcats@gmail.com to request an adoption application.
Once we receive your complete application, an adoption counselor will call you within 48 hours of receipt of the application. During the adoption interview, the adoption counselor will tell you more about the puppy and our adoption processes, as well as answer any questions you have.
Dogs and puppies are up-to-date on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered, de-wormed, treated for fleas/ticks and heartworm negative before leaving rescue. You will receive complete medical records for your dog or puppy at the time of adoption. The adoption fee is $425 and covers the cost of all veterinary care and transportation to your area. For an additional $40, your dog or puppy can be microchipped before leaving rescue.
