KEANU's Story...
PLEASE READ THIS PROFILE AND THE REQUESTED CRITERIA BEFORE CALLING OR SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION. THANKS FOR YOUR ATTENTION AND CONSIDERATION

MEET KEANU....and he is a very, handsome sable, black tipped, 15 lb, 1 yr old Lhasa Apso mix. He is likely about 98% Lhasa...with a little something added in there for extraordinary gorgeousness!! At least, that is what we think! Keanu is a lover. He has a lot of energy...as he is really still only a puppy...who loves attention -- but he is also a cuddler and kisser... who will sit by your feet while you are working....or run around and play if you will play with him! Keanu is great with other dogs and definitely should have one of his own to snuggle up with at night....and play, play, PLAY with during the day. He even got my 12 yr old Maltese to go a few rounds with him! Keanu will need some training on the leash (loves to pull, pull, pull!) and he does like to announce himself to any dog who is walking on the sidewalk! But he is only interested in introducing himself and checking out "the competition" -- he doesn't have an ounce of aggression in his entire body! This is a wonderful dog, who would even be fine with kids over 8 yrs old. He would not be suitable for a senior home, as he is quite active and would like a family who can exercise and play with him. A yard would be great....and someone home to train him would be even better. This is a wonderful dog who will complete a very happy family!!

Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag!

Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!!! Why Adoption is a Great Option

KEANU, a Los Angeles Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
