My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PETER........ Shepard / Lab mix.  8 years old.....  This boy did not have too much in life or much of a life.  When he came into Keeper Rescue he was very sad and withdrawn.  It's been a few months now and he has turned into a very nice, sweet boy.  He walks well on a leash, rides great in the car (LOVES a Wendy's Hamburger) and has good house manners. He is a bit shy at first but after a few minutes he's fine.  We are looking for a quieter home (no small children) for Peter where he can just be part of the family and enjoy walks, hanging out in the yard and going for rides.  He does not always get along with other dogs (he was put in a couple of bad situations) or cats so a home where he is the only "kid" is needed,  That, as far as we have observed, is his only issue.  When our volunteers take him out they all comment on how good he was !!  If you are looking for a boy with a very gentle soul Peter just might be the one .....  If interested please contact Keeper Rescue at  keeperrescue@gmail.com and tell Peter a bit about yourself and where you live.
