Meow! My name is Capi

Capi was discovered as a tiny youngster, crying, alone and abandoned, on the grounds of the Tennessee State Capitol.  We named him Capitol for that, Capi for short.   He was barely the size of a hand.  We thought growing up with other kittens would help his normal development so we put him with three orange girls about his age and hoped they would adopt him.   He started out notably smaller than the girls, and they adopted him as a sort of mascot, grooming and watching over him. Now that he has caught up with them in size and strength, he is fair game for chasing and wrestling, just like the other kittens. Capi is active and athletic, but at heart, he is a lap cat. As much as he loves to scamper around with a sparkly toy in his mouth, he drops everything for a chance to nestle into a warm lap.

Capi is a gentle sweetheart.  He's good with cats and good with calm, cat respectful dogs.  Capi only has one problem.  He has astma.  Because on occasion he needs meds we have listed him as special needs.  He's easy to handle and easy to give meds to.  He doesn't need them all the time, just with the occasional pollen allergy.

If you would like to adopt Capi with a companion, consider one of his foster siblings, Cinders, Bunny or Hilary.

Capi is up to date on vaccinations, tested helthy and neutered. 

Capi will be adopted to an inside home only. Reference and vet checks as well as a home visit are required. The adoption donation for cats is $90. If two cats are adopted the adoption fee for each is $50. The adoption donations are used to help other abandoned and abused kittens and cats.
