Scratch-Courtesy Post's Story...
Meet Scratch, a 3 year old Beagle/Husky mix with an adorable face. Scratch is up to date on his shots and comes with his own bed and some toys. This little guy could not go to his owner’s new home after he retired so Scratch is with his foster family in Berea waiting to meet his new family. He gets along fine with his kitty and other doggie foster siblings and loves to play. Though he gets along with other doggies, well, he would probably prefer to be with just one other doggie or the only doggie in the house. Older children would be ok 8+, little people under 7 may make me a little nervous, though I am not aggressive. I need a little leash work but am very cuddly. I like to talk too! When I want something, like to go potty, or some affection, I will “talk” to you in cute little yips and barks. He will even “talk” back to you! Scratch is housebroken and immediately available.

Please contact info@aaria.org or call 440-381-5046 and leave a message for April if you want more information our would like to meet Scratch.

**Note: Scratch is not at the Berea Shelter, please contact April directly for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scratch-Courtesy Post, a Berea Beagle/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Husky for sale in Berea, or seeking a Beagle/Husky dog from a breeder in Berea.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berea already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berea breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Husky breeders who help with Beagle/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berea paves the way for another one to be saved.
