Misty's Story...
Hi, my name is Misty! I’m looking for some love in a quiet home after adventures. You see, my four kittens and I were found taped up in a pet carrier in a parking lot.

Thankfully, my foster family came to the rescue and now that all my babies have found their families, I’m hoping my turn is coming soon. I love my foster family and in fact I can’t wait for them to get home from work so that I get the pets and LOVE I’ve been waiting for. The minute you sit down I will climb up into your lap, purring and doing happy feet to show you just how happy I am to see you.

I do well with the other kitties in my foster home but I wouldn’t mind if it was just me or maybe one other kitty in my new home. I really like to be the center of attention and I LOVE my quality people time, so I hope the other kitty wants to share. I’ve met the dog in my foster home and she’s ok because she’s kind of old, she doesn’t bark and best of all she doesn’t chase me around the house.

So, if you’re looking for a SUPER SWEET, SUPER AFFECTIONATE kitty and if you would like to help my birthday wish come true, then I’m ready for a home of my own. (Birthday: July 2009)

If you would like to meet this VERY LOVING GIRL please call Cathy at 661-273-9822 or email her at hosford@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Misty, a Palmdale Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Palmdale, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Palmdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palmdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palmdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palmdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
