Buck's Story...
Buck here! Got off to a rough start when some jerk threw me and my sister out of a moving car when we were just pups. Thanks to a kind stranger and CARE, Inc. we were rescued in the nick of time. I was fostered for a while as a pup so I Iearned all the niceties like walking on a leash. Now I'm just waiting for someone to spring me from this joint so my life can really begin. Daisy has already been adopted, and her new family says she's great. I'm not surprised, I know we come from good stock despite our rough beginnings. I'm ready to be your solid canine companion. I'm full of fun and good energy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buck, a Albany Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Albany, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Albany.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Albany already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Albany breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Albany paves the way for another one to be saved.
