Derek's Info...
| Breed: | German Shepherd Dog Mix | Color: | Black - With Tan, Yellow Or Fawn | Age: | Adult |
| Size: | Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg) | Sex: | Male | ID#: | 4409133 |
Derek came to us as a stray so we don’t know much about his past. We do know that he is a fun-loving boy who adores playing with his toys. He loves to play fetch but also likes to ‘hide’ his toys from time to time, placing them behind bushes or in small piles of rocks. He is a quirky guy who also likes affection. He will stand next to you and then lean in to have you rub and scratch him all over. This very sweet and handsome boy would like very much to find a forever home.
Derek is neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on all his vaccinations. He is living at our shelter Adoption Center and would love to meet you! Please stop by soon.
Rescue Group Info...
Friends for Life Animal Rescue is a registered nonprofit, volunteer-based, no-kill organization. Started in 1993 Friends for Life maintains an adoption center for it's rescued animals, a low-cost spay and neuter program (grant-funded), and a network of foster homes. Friends for Life also attends off-site locations to adopt the homeless cats and dogs and the organization is always looking for help. Friends for Life does not have a veterinarian on site or on staff. We utilize discounted services of veterinarians kind enough to do so for our rescued animals.
Friends for Life Animal Rescue Adoption Center hours are:
Tuesday and Friday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Wednesday and Thursday 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Saturday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
