Rocky's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Rocky's Story...
Rocky is just a puppy. He is probably around 10-12 months old. He is an awesome boy who loves to play. He does fair on his leash walking, but he would rather just play. He is mixed black lab and chocolate lab, I think cause he has both colors in him, plus a little white. He has the lab temperment, as is, he loves the world. Rocky will be neutered, up to date on shots, and heart worm tested upon completion of adoption. Rocky is also already house broken. If you have a warm place in your heart for labs, Rocky is your boy. You can meet him by calling one of the volunteers and setting up a time to come and meet him. You can contact Melodie at 217-822-3980 or Linda at 217-466-1062 and please leave a message with your name and phone number so we can return the call as soon as we get it.

Act quickly to adopt Rocky. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Paris Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Paris, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Paris.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Paris already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Paris breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Paris paves the way for another one to be saved.
