My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi!! My name is Jeannie and I am a young, bundle of energy waiting for my forever family. I do love to play...sometimes I can play for hours and still have energy to spare. I hope my forever family loves to go on lots of walks and runs because I think that would be really fun. I just love people--especially if they give me attention--but my energy levels may be a bit too high for young children. Actually, one of my favorite things to do is play with other doggies! My tail never seems to stop wagging when I see my doggie friends.

Even though I love to play, I can also be a serious student. I go to BAD RAP every week with one of my favorite volunteers, who says I am a very quick learner. So far, I know "look," "sit," "down," "leave it," and "come." I am working on learning "stay," which can be tough for a girl like me who wants to be on the move. In addition to knowing all of these commands, many people have commented on my excellent eye contact. I must have gorgeous eyes or something, because when I stare at my handler, she sometimes gives me tasty treats!

If you're looking for a sweet, fun addition to your family, I think I could fit the bill! I have a great personality and I make my handlers laugh a lot. I'm also not a bad looker, either--one of my favorite volunteers calls me a "showstopper." I'm not sure what that means exactly, but many strangers tell me how pretty I am when I'm out on walks. I do like when that happens. :)
