Bill's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Bill's Story...
Yes, Bill is a big dog. Really he looks a little like an 100-lb pug with his wrinkly face and soft buff coat. Outside the shelter, Bill walks very easily on leash. He's happy to lumber along next to you and will work into a happy lumbering gallop with some encouragement. Bill is affectionate, he likes his belly rubs and he'll look back at you with his big brown eyes while walking, hoping for a treat and some attention. He knows "sit" and could no doubt learn some other commands.

Act quickly to adopt Bill. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bill, a Berkeley Bullmastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bullmastiff for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a Bullmastiff dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bullmastiff breeders who help with Bullmastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
