Teddi's Story...
Teddi is an extremely sweet, easy going 5-year-old Mastiff mix girl who is content to lay by your feet (or on the couch, if you let her!). She also enjoys spending time outside with her humans, riding in the car or just being where her people are. Teddi lives with three young boys and Teddi loves her human foster brothers, especially the youngest one - check out her YouTube videos from her link on our Adoptable Dogs page at SavetheGiants.com!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Teddi, a Fort Collins Mastiff/Rhodesian Ridgeback dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mastiff/Rhodesian Ridgeback for sale in Fort Collins, or seeking a Mastiff/Rhodesian Ridgeback dog from a breeder in Fort Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mastiff/Rhodesian Ridgeback breeders who help with Mastiff/Rhodesian Ridgeback rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
