Patty's Story...
PATTY is a 7 month old black and tan German Shepherd - Hound mix female. She weighs 60 pounds and is not yet spayed. PATTY is playful and curious. She loves people and loves to play games! She knows to "SIT" for a treat and then will take it very gently fro your hand. PATTY will make a great addition to any home environment. She's young and eager to learn and to please. She likes other dogs and is good around children. She came to us as a stray - but it's obvious she's been around people.

Act quickly to adopt Patty. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patty, a Clarksville German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Clarksville, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Clarksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clarksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clarksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clarksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
