Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I'm Ernie.
I have the kind of story that would make for a really good country ballad...you know the kind. I thought I'd found true love with a great owner, I'd almost saved up enough to get my very own Stetson, life was good! But whammy, my owner's cheatin' heart got the best of him and he dumped me for somebody new. I got shipped off to another home but I always played cinderella to the stepsister cats who already lived there; I just wasn't used to having company. From that bad situation things only grew more Patsy Cline-ish. I guess folks figured that since I didn't like to live with other cats, I would probably REALLY enjoy living with two Great Pyrenees dogs. Have you seen a Great Pyrenees? They are roughly the size of an Abominable Snowman and as far as I'm concerned about as fun to be around. My point is, talk about setting a feline up to fail! In spite of it all, my ballad will have a happy ending because I've remained a sweet, well-adjusted, loving, beautiful lap cat ( well, I'm looking for a lap, anyways).
So, if you are a one-cat kind of household, and you've been noticing that your lap is sadly without cat at present, come on over and meet me!
