Tristan's Story...
TRISTAN is a dashing DSH Lynx Point approx. 1-2 years of age. Living outside where he had been forced to beg for food & water, & finding places to bunk down in all the cold weather just wasn't what he bargained for. A nice lady had been feeding him and supplying him with water while he took refuge under her deck, but it froze too fast.. When it got to sub-zero temps, he would be screaming outside her door for shelter but wouldn't let her near him, let alone catch him. Finally a trap was set hoping he could be caught. The smell of the food inside was too much for him to bear and within minutes was caught. Does great with other cats and would be a great kids cat. It is delightful to see him learning to play with kitty toys. In 7th heaven curled up in your lap while being petted.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tristan, a Anchorage Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Anchorage, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Anchorage.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Anchorage already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Anchorage breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Anchorage paves the way for another one to be saved.
