Dexter's Story...
Hi! My name is Dexter! I'm a One year old ball of energy! I am best buddies with my brother, Morgan, and want to go to my forever home with him.

We love to play and snuggle and do pretty much everything together! I am a little spit fire, I love to snuggle with people but I am fiesty when I play but I'm a young kitty and have a LOT of energy! I have a super duper long tail which makes my body look sleek and long.

I am a cozy lap kitty and can sleep on your lap for hours! Not only am I fun like a kitten, potty trained like a cat but I am a loving teeny bopper kitty that loves to give kisses and show you I love you no matter what! Please consider me and my brother to become part of your family!

If you are interested in Dexter, please contact us at info@rornfp.org for more info.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dexter, a Oak Lawn Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Oak Lawn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Oak Lawn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oak Lawn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oak Lawn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oak Lawn paves the way for another one to be saved.
