Sue's Story...
Our Sue has had a challenging start to her young life but that has not stopped her from having a zest for life and a love of people. She is a gorgeous Mastiff/Lab mix who will wow your friends and neighbors. She is a big lovebug and a very special dog!! Sue came out of a high-kill shelter in Louisiana and was on the local rescue group's farm. Because there were so many animals there she did not receive the singular love and attention she deserves but you'd never know it! She is gentle and happy as can be. Mastiffs are calm and quiet, have a sleek easy-care coat, needs only moderate exercise, and is mild-mannered. We will not place Sue in a home with children or other animals because she does not like fast movements and her environment needs to be stable and predictable. She really is an amazing dog and deserves an amazing home where she will be loved and cared for. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sue, a Groton Mastiff/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mastiff/Labrador Retriever for sale in Groton, or seeking a Mastiff/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mastiff/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Mastiff/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
